Die 21ste Januarie 2011 het Curro Bankenveld Private Skool  in Witbank afgeskop met 500 opgewonde leerlinge en personeel.  We chose the theme of ‘Running the Race’ for this year and, every Bankie, as we affectionately call ourselves, has made an impact in the community right from the get-go as we launched ourselves wholeheartedly into living the ethos and principles of Curro.  ‘n Paar van ons hoogtepunte van die jaar sluit in:

• Katlego Makgatlha en Katlego Makgotloe het die Mpumalanga Atletiekspan behaal.
• Khethelo Nkosi het in die Mpumalanga Jeugkoor gesing wat hierdie jaar aangewys is as die beste jeugkoor in die land. 
•  A group of pupils, together with Mrs Delaporte went on an Ukuphila Arts and Culture Tour of Turkey and Italy.
• We also have had some wonderful outings to see Janice Honeyman’s ‘Cinderella’, and even had our pictures taken with some of the stars acting in the pantomime.  
• Mpho Khubeka was chosen for the Mpumalanga Cricket Team for 2012 too.  

What a year!
